Personal and professional.

Nina Bartlett has always been around dogs and horses. Before starting her studies in veterinary medicine at the University of Bern in 2007, she worked with horses during a 4-year stay in Ireland and acquired relevant practical knowledge in dealing with warm bloods and thoroughbreds.

After successfully completing her studies in 2013 she worked intensively on her doctorate and also worked as an assistant in the emergency service of the equine clinic in Bern.

In the same year she deepened her knowledge and took multistage additional training courses in veterinary acupuncture in England and Germany, which she completed successfully in 2014. In September  2015 IVAS (International Veterinary Acupuncture Society) accepted her Case Report, which declares Nina Bartlett (nee Märki) as an 'IVAS certified acupuncturist'. In October 2015 she received the 'Fähigkeitsausweis Tierakupunktur GST' from camvet.ch - the Swiss veterinary association for complemetary and alternative veterinary medicine.

From 2014 to the start of self-employment in early 2015 she was employed as a veterinarian in a small animal practice in Basel.

Nina Bartlett has been riding for many years and competes in smaller dressage, show jumping and eventing competitions. She owns two horses and two dogs.
